The minimum wage is starting to go up. While this is a welcome news to workers everywhere, it is causing a problem for many employers. Apparently, such increase is causing a strain on their budgets.

The rising wage is sowing fear among employers.

According to an article from nytimes.com, “On Jan. 1, 13 states raised their minimum wage, and an additional 22 and the federal government are expected to consider increases this year as well.”
