We usually hear the saying “customer is always right” among the stores where we shop and some people may sometimes take this statement in the wrong way. Zouna al Jabri, store manager at Matalan, believes that customers should only get the treatment that they deserve and nothing more.
He says, ““We believe that we should treat people the same way they would treat us. It is imparted in our approach to customer service. Keeping the staff happy and enjoying their work environment is crucial. It translates into a much better experience for customers.”
It’s definitely not wrong to train your workers and staff decently, making sure that they have a good time and not forcing them to do things that they’d rather not do. Once again, proper training and communication is the key to having a clear understanding of their responsibilities and rights.
