The number of employees bringing their own mobile devices at work is on the rise. Even if there is an increasing number of employees doing this, many small businesses do not have policies that deal with the practice.

Experts say that this can cause problems because the use of these devices at work has some risks. However, many small businesses have not recognized the potential damage that the unregulated use of gadgetss can cause.

According to Jamie Herzlich for newsday.com, “Just 31 percent of companies mandate a device password or key lock on personal devices, according to the Acronis/ Ponemon survey.”
