Time for TaxesWhile for most people spring means the end of the cold season and a time for blooming plants and flowers, others see it in a different light. For small business owners it can be one of the most hectic and stressful times of the year. It’s the season for taxes.

Preparing taxes can take up a great deal of time of small business owners today. In fact, studies show that many entrepreneurs spend more than 150 hours each year preparing tax forms.

According to an article by Kevin Shivers of Triblive.com, “It is counterintuitive to put small-business owners through these tax-time trials when they are the ones America is counting on to create the majority of new jobs. They should be spending time instead growing their businesses and getting our country back to work.”

Studies have shown that if there is one thing that small business owners are not happy about it would be dealing with tax codes and forms. The complexity of the process forces them to hire professionals which is just an added cost.
