The winter was rough for many small businesses. But even while the weather is getting warmer, there is no increase in the hiring of small businesses. Experts see this as a disturbing trend.
The share of new jobs for small businesses has become smaller.
According to an article from washingtonpost.com, “Since the start of 2013, the only time small businesses have accounted for a smaller portion of job gains was last October, when the government shutdown brought small-business hiring to a screeching halt across the country.”
