The  Affordable Care Act became a law way back in 2010, and some of its provisions have already taken effect, but some are only to be implemented by 2015.

That’s why small business owners would do good to be aware of certain dates that have some connection with the implementation of the law. Some of these provisions have a huge impact on small businesses.

According to an article from macon.com, “On Oct. 1, individuals and small businesses can buy benefit plans by enrolling in the new individual and Small Business Health Insurance Options Program (SHOP) Marketplace.”
